Job Description:
Encourages and demonstrates teamwork by following up on diagnostic results, answering phones, and communicating with patients. Demonstrates care for colleagues by working in all areas, being open to change, and effectively participating in conflict resolution and problem-solving. Collaborates with staff on marketing efforts and assists with marketing mailings and phone calls. Communicates effectively with front desk staff to ensure efficient patient flow and performs front office responsibilities as assigned. Prepares for next day patients by ensuring all necessary reports and results are available, and passes key information to doctors, clinicians, and front office in a timely manner. Coordinates with appropriate personnel to schedule procedures and ensure efficient processes. Maintains efficient patient flow, prepares exam rooms, and addresses all doctors’ requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of office medical equipment and assists doctors during procedures. Maintains timely communication with patients regarding hyperbaric dives, surgery, prescriptions, and testing. Assists in controlling supplies and maintains inventory weekly. Maintains accurate documentation of patient medications, messages, sample medications, and pharmacy documentation. Identifies problems that may affect patient safety and efficiency in the department and demonstrates knowledge and compliance with hospital guidelines and regulatory requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Competent in basic patient work-up for examination. [Required]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:
• Appropriate medical training for licensure and/or certification. [Required]
