Manager Infection Prevention
SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program surveillance, assessment, reporting of communicable diseases to public health, monitoring the environment for infection prevention and control risks including construction activities and providing educational activities that support the organization-wide infection prevention and control program at Valley Children's Healthcare.REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) Either a Bachelor's Degree in related field, Master's Degree preferred or a combination of equivalent experience and education; B) a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience required, 10 years preferred; C) a minimum of 3 years leadership experience required; D) Active CA Registered Nurse Licensure or Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) required; E) Certified Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) required within 24 months of hire or transfer into position.
POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, Exempt, 80 hours per pay period. Day shift
PAY RANGE: $60.00 - $93.70
