Certified Dosimetrist Radiology Oncology Full-Time
Description Under limited supervision, calculates dose distributions for 3-D external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy including ultrasound guided prostate implants. Participates in complex dose calculations as required for intensity modulated radiotherapy. Participates in Physics projects, quality control and performance improvement projects.RequirementsEDUCATION: Bachelor of Science degree CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)SKILLS: Computer literacy, good organizational skills, good communication skills and a working knowledge of radiation safety.
