Please wait.Biomedical Equipment Technician, $4 Shift DifferentialDescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Involves the fields of healthcare technology management (systems engineering, biomedical engineering, regulatory compliance, new technology assessment and deployment). Includes technology selection, device integration, interfacing with IT security, infrastructure and networks and biomedical equipment services (inventory and maintenance of equipment). Applies a broad scope of diagnostic, therapeutic, and equipment maintenance technologies used in the delivery of patient care. May provide technical support during highly instrumented medical procedures. Provides consultation, instruction and / or technical direction for medical, nursing and other paramedical staff in the safe use of biomedical equipment.REPRESENTATIVE RESPONS
