JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Clinical Engineering Manager, the Instrument Sharpening Technician II is accountable for installations, repairs, regular maintenance and calibration of most classes of surgical instruments at the component level. May offer guidance to Instrument Sharpening Tech I staff. May offer in-service and personal training for equipment users on subjects such as electrical safety, proper operation and care of the surgical instruments.
