The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Waterman Sleep Center - 1000 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, 32778 

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for all aspects of care as outlined in the Sleep Disorder Center policy/procedure manual. Clinical practice activities include but are not limited to the performance of diagnostic polysomnographic testing and assessment based therapeutic interventions.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·       Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.

·       Demonstrates the ability to access department and medical center information

·       Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy/procedure, and patient care plan.

·       Demonstrates ability to adapt EEG ,ECG, EMG ,Legs, Snore Mic and Thermistor equipment to patient and obtain quality data

·       Assessment and intervention reflect consideration of family/work roles and obligations to our adult patients

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

·    High School Diploma or Equivalent

·    Up to 1 Year of Experience

·    Credentialed or certified with one or more of the following: American Academy of Sleep Medicine Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) or Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Preferred qualifications: 

·    Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School

·    Bachelor's Degree

·    1 to 2 Years of Position-Related Experience
