OU Health, located in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks a seasoned executive leader to join OU Health's transformative journey as their next Chief Administrative Officer, Adult Services (CAO) at Oklahoma's only comprehensive academic medical center. OU Health, an academic health system of hospitals, clinics, and centers of excellence, recently merged into a fully integrated system in January 2022. This merger has streamlined operations, accelerated improvements, increased resources, and ensured that the organization could provide competitive compensation. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer of OU Health, the CAO will oversee the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, the state's only Level I trauma center, and Edmond Medical Center, a full-service community hospital. The CAO's vision and strategy will drive growth and transformation, building a structure that supports the organization's goals and fosters a culture of high-quality, patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will be a visible and engaged leader with a demonstrated track record of guiding a high-performing team and establishing high-trust partnerships. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of progressive operational leadership experience within an academic medical center or health system with a track record of success achieving strong financial, operational and quality performance.
