DescriptionAdministers respiratory care and diagnostic procedures and therapies as assigned by the Department Manager or appropriate supervisor to include, but not limited to: Humidity and Aerosol therapy; CPT/Flutter; IPPB; Oxygen therapy; SVNs; USNs; Suctioning; Oximetry; ABGs; MDIs; PEFR; EKGs; Bi-Pap therapy; Calorimetry; Trach Care; Incentive Spirometry.Performs CPR and is currently certified for basic life support by AHA.Understands and practices safe respiratory care techniques.Adheres to all universal precautions.Is able to assess, plan, and provide individualized care for patients in compliance with physician?s orders, taking into account the metal status, development, and physical needs of each patient based on age,
