Embark on a journey leading pediatric services with Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals & Endeavor Health Medical Group
Our commitment at Endeavor Health is unwavering – delivering accessible, high-quality and comprehensive care in a community-based setting. Our mission is to help everyone in our communities be their best by achieving our vision of safe, seamless and personal care -- every person, every time. Delivering on our mission and vision, as well as our brand promise of empathy and expertise, requires us to think boldly about the leadership structures and teams required for success in support of the communities we are privileged to serve.
Toward that objective, Endeavor Health is combining the duties of two significant physician leadership roles in pursuit of excellence - the Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals Chair, Department of Pediatrics (DOP), and the Endeavor Health Medical Group Physician Executive, Pediatrics. As we continue to thrive and expand, we are searching for a dynamic and compassionate leader to step into the role.
This unique position includes leadership responsibilities across the four five-star CMS rated and US News and World Report ranked Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals – where the majority of the system’s academic activities currently take place – while leading the employed pediatric practices for the entire Endeavor Health Medical Group. Reporting both to the Endeavor Health System President Acute & Ambulatory Operations and the Endeavor Health Medical Group President Primary Care, the NorthShore Hospitals Pediatrics Chair/Pediatrics Physician Executive role is a significant physician leadership role at Endeavor Health and in the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance.
The opportunity
This is a pivotal role to strategically leverage the existing resources within the NorthShore Hospitals Department of Pediatrics to drive the academic mission while growing the clinical enterprise. As the Chair/Physician Executive, you will have the leadership support to leverage the academic, research and clinical resources within the DOP while strategically increasing the Endeavor Health footprint across the communities served by Endeavor Health. You will also have the opportunity to build upon our existing relationship with the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance Joint Venture, working closely with senior clinical and administrative leaders to expand pediatric specialty and subspecialty access.
The role is instrumental in building a comprehensive clinical program within our NorthShore Hospitals – four hospitals that are a part of our innovative healthcare system – as well as the Endeavor Health Medical Group. You will wield the influence, empathy, and expertise to shape the future trajectory of pediatric services across the continuum of NorthShore Hospitals, Endeavor Health Medical Group and the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance.
Your impact
In this position, you’ll be instrumental in driving strategic direction, clinical excellence and intellectual leadership for pediatrics at Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals and across the Endeavor Health Medical Group. You will also have a seat at the senior leadership team of CCHA. Collaborating with administrative partners, you’ll be the vital link between providers and leaders, guiding physicians, shaping organizational planning, and ensuring the realization of clinical quality, strategic growth and financial objectives.
Your energy and vision will be the catalyst for driving opportunities that elevate the quality, reputation, and capabilities of pediatrics services in NorthShore Hospitals, Endeavor Health Medical Group and CCHA
Your leadership
You will have a dual reporting role to the Endeavor Health System President Acute & Ambulatory Operations as the NorthShore Hospitals Chair of Pediatrics, and to the Endeavor Health Medical Group President Primary Care as the Medical Group Physician Executive for Pediatrics. You will have a close relationship with the CCHA Chief Medical Officer and President. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Physician Executive to influence the broader strategic direction of Endeavor Health Medical Group.
As the leader of the pediatric enterprise, you will have the administrative support to balance your clinical activities with your Chair/Physician Executive responsibilities. This unique balance ensures that you effectively lead pediatric services while maintaining a hands-on connection with patient care – a true embodiment of leadership.
