Full Time
40 Hours/Week
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Onsite, 2-3 days/week
Summary:
Establish, implement, develop, and control best practices for IT project management throughout the organization. Includes defining and documenting all policies and processes of project lifecycles in order to deliver these projects according to plan and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Creates formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and allocating resources.
2. Assists with prioritization of the project portfolio.
3. Ensures proper planning is in place at a high level to determine whether the capacity is there to take on new work for the prioritized project portfolio.

Technical Expertise
1. Proven track record of strong PMO experience utilizing project management best practices.
2. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
3. Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required as position deals with individuals of all levels.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor degree in business, computer science, electrical engineering or computer related area required.
2. Five (5) years management experience preferred with a minimum of 3-5 direct reports.
3. Minimum of seven (7) years project management experience required. Experience can be concurrent.
4. Experience with managing a Project Managment Office (PMO) preferred.
5. A PMP certification is required.
