QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Required Skills
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program.
- State licensure as an Audiologist or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong knowledge of audiology, hearing disorders, and balance disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and
their families.
- Proficiency in audiological assessment equipment and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in the selection, fitting, and adjustment of hearing aids, cochlear implants,
and assistive listening devices.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate patient records and complying with relevant
regulations and standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuing education in audiology.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
