The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine (UMMSOM) Department of Anesthesia, Perioperative Medicine, and Pain Management is seeking a Chief of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia. Candidates should have exceptional clinical, academic, and administrative skills and have national stature in Pediatric Anesthesia.

Opportunity Highlights

• Candidates for this position should have completed a U.S.-approved residency in Anesthesiology or have obtained equivalent training and certification as well as a Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship.
• Faculty appointment with a well-recognized academic anesthesia department.
• Oversee delivery of clinical care provided by division and ensure quality of care, access, on-call, and clinic schedule.
• Candidate should be a well-established researcher in the field of Pediatric Anesthesiology or a related field.
• Candidate should also have an established record of leadership and be at the Associate Professor or higher rank.
