Overview
St. Luke's is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join us in our strategy to be the community's trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. Project Managers within the System Project Management Office supports the identification and delivery of the highest priority initiatives and information health technology (IHT) projects across the organization aligned to the mission, vision and strategic objectives of St. Luke's.
The Project Manager 3 supports the day-to-day planning and execution of project management activities, including detailed project plans in Microsoft Project for the Web, coordinating, and monitoring medium to large scale cross functional project teams, managing sponsor and stakeholder expectations and deliverables, and detailed focus on risk mitigation, scope, schedule, and budget.
The project manager may work alongside a team consisting of portfolio managers, project managers, utilizing change and communication management tactics to lead and deliver complex, high-risk, strategic, and tactical projects and programs through all phases of project initiation, planning, delivery, and closure.
Job Functions:
- Execute project management work in approved SLHS enterprise tools, processes, templates, standards, and reporting formats, adhering to high-quality standards
- Develops and actively maintains larger-scale strategic and tactical projects and programs, inclusive of budgets, schedules, KPI's/metrics, and appropriate controlling artifacts to ensure progress reporting and communication meet stakeholder expectations.
- Continuously monitor and report on progress of project to stakeholders and present routine reports defining project progress, risks, issues, and resolutions
- Facilitates cross-functional project kickoff and closure, obtains commitment from key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Works with stakeholders and industry standards to develop criteria for evaluating project success.
- Utilizing enterprise change and communication management standards
- Takes projects and programs from original concept through final implementation.
Required Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred/ Not Required Criteria:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) credential through the Project Management Institute or equivalent
