is seeking a Lead ServiceNow developer tohelp lead and build aninnovative and growing ServiceNowd evelopment team serving both the Duke Health system and Duke University. The leaddevelo per will be a ServiceNow Certified SystemAdministrator on t he Jakarta (orlater) release.The ideal candidates willhave experi ence with platform upgrades, designing APIinte grations, the ITILframework, and rolling out m ajor ServiceNow applicationssuch as ITSM, SPM, SecOps, ITOM, FSM,or CDSM.

Job Respo nsibilities
- Serve as an expert resource for staff, fielding questions and educating on best practices Act as a lead or primary developer of our ServiceNow instance by providing development best pract ice techniques, creative solutions to customer requests, implementat ion of flexible/sustainable features,and investigative analysis reg arding new/better uses of ServiceNow. Keep abreast of IT industry trends and best practices.
- Serv e as lead developer on new major span>applications.
- Ensure compliance with set < /span>policies, procedures and standards.
- W< span>ork in an independent manner in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Support Level 1 and Level 2 devs as needed with stories or op erational tasks.
- Work closely wit h our developers by conducting periodic peer reviews, validation of test cases and results, and providing opinion and feedback regarding development efforts.
- Work with our business/systems analysts to enrich story requirements, develop clear acceptance criteria, and aid in the design of test cases.
- Ability to work in an independent manner i n an Agile/Scrum environment using stories and tasks.< /li>
- Build and present proof-of-concepts, document c ustom system development design architecture, implement of scalable& maintainab le functionalities.
- Conduct investigative analysis around issues with or opportunities wit h ServiceNow creation of test cas esensuring acceptance of development.
Preferred Qualifications span>
- Prefer at least three Fiv e to seven years of experience as a ServiceNow Applicat ion Developer using Jakarta (or later).
- Experi ence with the Automated Test Framework
- Prefer candidate to demonstrate experience as a S erviceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application De veloper.
- Must have been a primary resource involved in the completion led of span>at least one major upgrade of a ServiceNow Platform to Jakarta (or later). < li>Must have the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification
- Must have the Servic eNow Certified Application Developer certification
- Certified Implementation Specialist i n any of the following areas:
- S ecurity Operations
- Governance Risk and Compliance
- Field S ervice Management
- Strategic Portfoli o management
- Experience with the mentoring or tutoring of less experienced developers.
- Must have Experience with discovery, service mapping, performance analytics, and/or automatic test framework.
- experience working in an Agile/scrum envir onment.
- Must have Experience with discov ery, service mapping, performance analytics, and/or automatic test f ramework.
- experience with the fol lowing Technologies Must be familiar with ServiceNow cu stomization using JavaScript, XML, HTML, JSON, AJAX, SOAP/RES T.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: None required. Preferred certification in development technologies, as appropriate for the position.
Experience
Level 1 - No experience required beyond the minimum education (or equivalency) requirement. Level 2 - Twoyears of directly related experience is required. Level 3 - Four years of directly related experience is required.
