New opportunity for a Sr. HR Specialist within BJC Healthcare.
FT opportunity that will support Shared Services and Business HR.
Ideal candidates should be proficient in EXCEL and be able to analyze data.
Hybrid position, will need flexibility to be onsite for mew employee orientation weekly and other required meetings.
OverviewBarnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Partners with management and employees to provide service and support in a variety of HR functions, with an emphasis in employee relations and/or talent acquisition. Establishes best practices for attracting, onboarding, and/or orienting talent. Serves as a hands-on, progressive HR generalist who develops a thorough understanding of the HSO’s and/or the college’s goals. Responds to employee relations concerns, but alleviates complaints of a serious nature to human resource leader.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling investigations for student Title XI complaints and/or employee complaints and concerns.
- Monitors and analyzes various human resource metrics for accrediting bodies and operational needs.
- Integrates the academic/HSO needs for talent acquisition and onboarding into the BJC established processes, to provide a quality experience for hiring managers, applicants, and new hires.
- Serves as first point of contact for HR related questions and concerns and employees. Handles initial first level employee relations issues and partners with human resource leader on more complex issues.
- Develops and oversees a new hire orientation process.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned

Education
- Bachelor's Degree-Human Resources/related
