OverviewAtlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Cook for the Food Services Department at Overlook Medical Center to work varies shift.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Function/Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold meals for patient feeding, retail outlets and special events.
- Responsible for sanitation and regulatory compliance.
- Works in the main kitchen or in other areas for exhibition cooking.
QualificationsMinimum Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree in culinary arts preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Must have a good command of culinary fundamentals.
- Work in an area with extreme temperatures, standing for long periods of time, stooping and walking for long periods of times.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
License/Certification:
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
