Atlantic Medical Group is seeking full-time a Certified Medical Assistant for AMG MULTISPECIALTY in Pompton Plains

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• The Certified Medical Assistant I will be responsible for greeting and preparing for patients, managing patient flow, completing patient intake into EPIC system, and maintaining exam rooms including cleaning and keeping inventory/ordering supplies.
• Administrative responsibilities will include managing phones and scheduling patients when needed, patient registration and check-in/out, handling patient prescriptions and pre-authorization for diagnostic testing as well as directing patients in all phases of their experience with the practice.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma required

Minimum Experience:

Two years medical office experience preferred

Experience with an EMR system desired (preferably EPIC)

Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential

Ability to travel to different practices if necessary

Able to work flexible hours if necessary to accommodate practice hours

License/Certification:

Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, NRCMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT or NHA required
