ChristianaCare, the largest healthcare system in Delaware is searching for an experienced Operations Leader for the position of Corporate Director, Medical Group Operations-Emergency Medicine.
Experience building and leading an Emergency Medicine Service Line is highly desired.
As part of the Medical Group of ChristianaCare's (MGCC) leadership team, this position will partner directly with the VP Operations and form a dyad relationship with the Service Line Leader to oversee the operational effectiveness and lead the strategic development of all services and programs within the Emergency Medicine Service Line. The Corporate Director will use their expertise and influence to develop and execute operational and strategic initiatives in alignment with the goals and aspirations of the MGCC.

Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with their Service Line Leader, the Corporate Director will develop and execute an annual operating and strategic growth plan that includes comprehensive business cases that guide decisions.
- Create and secure approval for a 3-year Clinician Workforce plan that supports the operating and strategic plan and communicates plan to all provider and leader stakeholders.
- Accountable for developing and achieving the annual budget and ensuring that clinic level KPIs are being met in their assigned division.
- Provide monthly performance reports to Medical Group Senior Leadership.
- Partners with Medical Group, Hospital, and System-Wide leaders to advance justifications, proformas, and requisitions for recruitment and execute annual strategic growth plan.
Position Qualifications
- Master's degree required.
- Minimum of three years managing people leaders required.
- Minimum of five years of medical practice/departmental operations leadership experience required.
- Operational leadership experience building an Emergency Medicine service line strongly preferred.
