Develops, administers and directs strategic and tactical operational activities and programs directly related to trauma services, injury prevention and outreach for the enterprise. Evaluates patient care services to reduce gaps in service and overcome barriers to cost effective patient care. Ensures that all regulatory and accreditation requirements and standards are met including Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the American College of Surgeons requirements. Responsible for daily operations at designated facilities and the achievement of standards related to quality care, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and fiscally responsible care delivery. Successful candidate will bring experience with trauma committees with the American College of Surgeons, Additionally, will have established track record in strategic plan development of trauma programs with C-suites - both crafting and implementing these strategic plans. Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field or actively enrolled in a Master's degree program with a completion date within 3 years of hire* Current active RN licensure in the state of CO* Seven (7) years of trauma, emergency and/or critical care experience * Four (4) years of previous leadership experience with trauma registry and coding, preferred* Understands national, regional, state and local trauma considerations * Excellent communication and proven leadership and management skills* Membership to a related professional organization preferred (Society of Trauma Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
