Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an IHT Cyber Security Analyst 2 to join our Cyber Security team.
Unit/Position Summary
With a high degree of latitude, the IHT Cyber Security Analyst 2 develops and manages security for more than one IHT functional area.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors, and maintains information security policies, procedures and systems, including hardware, firmware and software.
- Ensures that IHT security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IHT standards and overall IHT security.
- Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents.
- Investigates and resolves security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security.
- Develops techniques and procedures for conducting IS security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions.
- Handles the most complex issues.
- Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group; may act as a "lead" or first-level supervisor.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree - Experience: 2 years experience - Licenses/Certifications: None
