ÂPosition Summary
The Cath Lab Manager at Yakima Valley Memorial (YVM) provides strategic leadership and administrative direction for continuous improvement and development within the Cath Lab unit. Ensures the accomplishment of the organizationâs vision, mission and values, and strategic goals, while creating a Cath Lab infrastructure with standardized pathways and processes ensuring continuity of care with a personalized patient experience. Maintains accountability for strategic planning and execution, and clinical and financial outcomes, assuring the highest quality patient satisfaction and service., This position directly manages the operations of the YVM Cath Lab team.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plans, coordinates, analyzes and implements strategic and tactical approaches within the department to meet clinical and financial outcomes.
2. Directs all financial activities to ensure the Cath Lab meets their fiscal objectives, including anticipating targeted outcomes, personnel, capital equipment and supplies.
3. Implements performance standards that maximize staff productivity and adhere to compliance regulations, promotes excellence in skills, standardized technological processes and personalized patient care experiences.
4. Designs, develops, implements and evaluates the Cath Lab infrastructure to achieve the highest level of service that support the strategic goals of YVM.
5. Uses data to drive decisions and improve operations.6. Contributes to special projects that require multi-disciplinary approaches, serving as counsel and facilitator to build bridges with other departments and support services.
7. Collaborates with YVM leadership to identify the areas in which collaboration could provide optimal benefit and innovative opportunities throughout the community and state.
8. Participates in meetings and/or seminars on a regular basis to maintain personal and professional growth and keep YVM leadership informed of current issues and initiatives.
9. Provides direction to process improvement activities and collaborates across the continuum maintaining and promoting a culture of safety and lean initiatives
10. Ensures strong communication with management and other inpatient and outpatient departments.
11. Maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities.
12. Enforces confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, and finances.
13. Represents the Cath Lab and the organization in its relationships with the external professional community including but not limited to Yakima and other regulatory/health care agencies in the region and State of Washington.
14. Coaches and mentors, staff across their area of responsibility to enhance skills, achieve high levels of performance, and create a culture of continuous learning that delivers on the mission.
15. Delivers customer service and/or patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill, is timely, efficient and accurate.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelorâs degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
Experience:Minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab required. Minimum of three years of leadership experience preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
MultiCare provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, MultiCare shares a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $96,593.95 and the pay scale is $96,593.95 - $144,890.93 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicantâs years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
