Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an Education Specialist 1 to join our Clinical Learning & Student Services team.
Unit/Position Summary
The Education Specialist 1 uses a specialized body of knowledge to support the daily functions of various education programs, including assisting educators with class and simulation preparation, supporting the learning management system, generating reports and/or distributing information as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provides timely and quality customer service; researches and responds to problems, questions, and issues/opportunities from employees and all levels of leadership with recommendations and solutions.
- Supports educations programs such as the American Heart Association Training Center, TeamSTEPPS, simulation, residency, competency and/or orientation.
- Sets up classes and processes transactions in the learning management system.
- May teach prepared classes such as BLS.
- Prepares and distributes correspondence within appropriate deadlines to meet business needs.
- Educates employees on education policies, procedures and resources that are available.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree OR 2 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: 2 years of experience, including computer software skills and specifically with Microsoft platforms.
