Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Mental Health Assistant in the Out-patient Mental Health at Morristown Medical Center.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Make bedside rounds to inpatient Veterans, meet with Veterans identified and referred from outpatient departments, coordinate care with healthcare teams to assist in the linkage to care in the community, act as patient advocate to assist Veterans with overcoming barriers, coordinate outpatient services, ensure linkages, develop relationships with system partners to increase awareness of behavioral health, other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related fields w/ relevant experience
• Master preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years case management in Behavioral Health. Experience working with and understanding of community resources for Veteran's.
• Experience working on an inpatient medical unit a plus.
