OverviewThe successful candidate provides on-site/off-site consultation, education and technical assistance in the provision of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulatory compliance, Federal laws and guidelines according to the State Operations Manual (SOM) applying survey protocols and risk-based methodology governing the operations for health care facilities. Maintains active/current knowledge of health care trends and nationally recognized best practices to develop solutions and consult with health care organizations for compliance with the CMS regulations and processes regarding the Medicare certification program and Federal survey methodology. Creatively approaches client organizations with solutions to improve the delivery of patient care
