Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for Gagnon 4 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7AM - 7:30PM, including every other weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience:

• 1-2 years acute care inpatient experience or 1 year nursing school completed

Licenses/Certifications:

• BLS required
• CNA preferred
