Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Certified Medical Assistant to join the Unoin office.

Essential Functions of Certfiied Medical Assistant:

• The Per Diem Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. managing patient flow, vital signs, patient intake

• Certified Medical Assistant will also be rooming of patients, assisting physician as needed, cleaning and re-stocking rooms

• CMA, Per Diem, PD Certified Medical Assistant will be ordering supplies and maintaining exam rooms, as well as registering and scheduling patients in practice management system

Education:

• High School Diploma required for CMA

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

• CCMA certification through NAHP, AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, or NHA required

• Two years medical office experience preferred

• EMR experience desired

• Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential

• Ability travel to different practices in the Chilton and Morristown Medical Center areas

• Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to accommodate practice hours

• Position may require working one evening shift per week and/or one weekend shift per month
