EOEPosition Information:
The Manager of Patient Access reports directly to the Director of Patient Access. Works collaboratively with other Patient Access Managers, clinical management and the Manager of Patient Financial Services to anticipate, integrate and coordinate services that optimize patient satisfaction, clinical and fiscal outcomes, and Revenue Cycle goals. Plans, monitors, and is accountable for the overall management and delivery of the following services at Cary Hospital, Apex, Brier Creek, and Garner Healthplexes: patient registration, ED registration, point-of-service collections, and customer service. Ensures front-end administrative denials are managed, and prevented to maximize financial reimbursement. Acts as an advocate for the patient, physician and hospital relative to compliance with federal, state and third party regulatory requirements. Serves as a liaison with the community, physician offices, and payers related to patient access issues. Provides regularly scheduled and ad-hoc, on-site support for all of their respective facilities.Experience Requirements:
5 Years Related Position Experience Required - Or 10 Years Related Position Experience In Lieu of Degree And 2 Years Management RequiredEducation Required:
