Summary:
The Chargemaster Analyst continuously reviews and revises Hospital Charge master to maximize billings and reimbursement. The Analyst prepares management reports, special reports, surveys, statistics, necessary to monitor and evaluate reimbursement. The Analyst maintains familiarity with the provision of medical record services, policies, procedures, standards, and coding.
Responsibilities:
Builds new Hospital Chargemaster Procedures/Supplies specific to Department needs.
Maintains the Hospital Chargemaster according to CMS regulations and compliance on a timely basis.
Follows-up and resolves issues related to charting audits within the patient bill, provides education, and additional compliance documentation as needed.
Investigates, responds to, and communicates information regarding Departmental coding, documentation, compliance, and reimbursement.
Other duties as assigned.
Required:
1 + years of related experience.
Associate degree
CPC
CCS
Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
