Curative Executive Search has partnered with Parkland Hospital and Health System (Parkland) in the heart of Dallas, Texas to fill their role as Director of Nursing, Behavioral Health.
Highlights:
- $150-190K dependent upon experience
- New ECT Program (in planning)
- Exceptional support and resources
Key Duties:
- Guarantee timely, equitable, safe, and high-quality care to patients in the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit
- Lead and manage the Inpatient Psych Unit and cross-cover Psych ED and Psych Observation Unit with Cohort Director.
- Assist in starting, and lead, a BERT team
- Ensure accountability for all operational processes and staff
- 80 personnel - includes managers and assistant managers
- 28 Inpatient Psych Beds (plans to add 8 more beds)
Requirements:
- Nursing degree and Master's degree
- Licensed in the state of TX. Compact license and those eligible for a TX state nursing license accepted
- 3 years of progressive leadership experience
- Expertise in IDTP
- Experience in and understanding of inpatient psychiatric services, preferably in an acute care setting
- Ability to create an equitable culture, listen to and support staff, and create an environment of high accountability
- Shared governance experience, highly preferrable
