Position Information:
The Residency Program Coordinator, in partnership with others in the Medical Education department, offers administration of educational and departmental activities in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training programs and ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements. The Residency Program Coordinator manages daily operations for WakeMed sponsored residency programs (currently Internal Medicine Residency program) as well as managing the IM residency budget. The Residency Program Coordinator will work GME reimbursement to ensure accurate data on the IM residents. This role performs continual program monitoring to ensure balance between residency clinical obligations, educational program requirements, accreditation, and individual resident needs. This position serves as a liaison between the Program Director and other affiliated departments and agencies. The Residency Program Coordinator facilitates recruitment, accreditation, credentialing and other regulatory requirements for WakeMed sponsored GME.Experience Requirements:
