ResponsibilitiesAtlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Emergency Management Department. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic's mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist projects related to Emergency Preparedness Program
- Identify and Map Emergency Department Assets
- Establish and Build Out Command Centers for Emergency Departments across locations
- Engage and provide updates to Emergency Trainings and Exercises
- Help with ad hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Ideally pursing a degree in Emergency Management, Nursing, Logistic/Supply Chain or a similarly related field
- EMT experience is strongly preferred
- Be in good academic standing
- US Citizen or permanent resident
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
