Atlantic Health System is seeking an in-house legal intern to support the initiatives, activities, and priorities of the Legal Department. The successful candidate will gain experience in a wide range of legal, health care, and compliance issues. As a legal intern you will:

• Assist in health care contract/diligence review
• Work on legal department initiatives
• Perform legal analysis
• Attend department meetings
• Draft legal memos

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
• Ideally pursing a Law Degree (J.D.) with an interest in Health Law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be in good academic standing
• Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
• Strong writing, research, editing and proofreading skills
• US Citizen or permanent resident
• Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
