JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Collaboration Administrator manages the Microsoft 365 system, infrastructure components for computing environments, and collaboration & communications systems with some guidance. Provides support services for Microsoft 365 administration, configuration management, monitoring and capacity planning. Assists in researching, evaluating, and documenting current and future technologies. Maintains integration with other systems. Provides support to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the enterprise communication and collaboration systems, such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive
• Ensures integrity, security, stability, and recoverability of systems.
• Provides technical support research.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:

SERVER ADMINISTRATION (NOVICE): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the skill in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally, works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments. Has retained equivalent knowledge from past experience.

SERVER CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): Has had training in or on-the-job exposure to configuration management tools that combine elements of vulnerability assessment, patch management, automated remediation, and configuration compliance to help reduce risks by ensuring that systems are configured properly.

SERVER INSTALLATION AND UPGRADE (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): Demonstrates a working knowledge of the utility programs required for installing and upgrading assignment-related software. Has a working knowledge of appropriate operation systems and access methods.

SERVER MONITORING AND TUNING (NOVICE): Possesses fundamental proficiency to successfully produce reports and graphs from performance metrics and SAR data. Generally, works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments. Has retained equivalent knowledge from past experience. Can use the facilities available to gather performance data and produce basic reports.

SERVER SECURITY (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS): Has training, light experience and general knowledge of the security requirements and concepts of various platforms, including mainframe, networks, electronic data interchange, distributed, and personal computer. Demonstrates knowledge of security standards and procedures.
