JOB SUMMARY
The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Administrator will be responsible for developing information security policy, introducing security best practices, and auditing information security compliance. This includes selecting and implementing appropriate security solutions for continuous patient privacy monitoring, data protection, and Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS) monitoring. The DLP Administrator will need to lead efforts to assess risk of potential data loss and will liaison with the Privacy and Compliance teams on a regular basis, reporting to those teams on any findings. They will assist respective IS Directors and/or leadership with understanding and implementing technical and process standards and supporting department budget planning and management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Ensures that all system platforms are functional and secure.
Ensures fulfillment of legal and contractual information security and privacy mandates.
Manages security audits, EPCS requirements, and DLP standards.
Reviews, implements, updates and documents companywide information security policies and procedures, particularly those related to data classification and data loss prevention.
Works with upper management to determine acceptable level of risk for enterprise computing platforms.Facilitates regular meetings with Executives from Privacy, Compliance and Information Security on topics regarding information and Data with a baseline knowledge of Information Security and Health Care regulations.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient computer software and database skills, including Microsoft Products (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, etc.)
Ability to focus and prioritize strategic objectives and work in a growing and challenging environment.Location: Remote
