BJC is hiring for a IS Sr Application Analyst. This person will be supporting virtual desktops and applications. Knowledge of networks and servers a plus.

By 'Caring for Systems that Care for People', BJC HealthCare Information Services (IS) is a key enabler of the mission, strategy and operating excellence that is associated with BJC HealthCare. Information Services is comprised of over 650 individuals working together to provide effective delivery of system development, implementation and support as well as strategic IT planning and analysis to BJC's Hospitals and Health Service Organizations.
Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
The IS Senior Analyst App/Bus will play a key role in the implementation and support of application software. Dependent up on the role this could be clinical application software or business application software. This position will work closely with customers and project team members to determine goals and objectives, and then, in partnership with the vendor, design applications to meet them. They outline application specifications, identify the required inputs and format the output to meet users? needs and provide other assistance as needed.
Responsibilities
- Partners with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Provide conventional solutions to address business needs as appropriate.
- Establishes and builds relationships with leaders to understand strategic goals and develop systems for tracking progress.
- Collaborates with vendors related to vended software applications including enhancements/optimization ? testing, implement, support. Develop and execute test plans as needed for software unit testing, integration testing, etc. Some roles may provide Tier 2 support to end users depending on application area.
- Responsible for report development as needed.
- Participate in project and/or technology planning meetings and assists Project Managers with task and meetings as needed.
