Position Information:
The Radiology Engineering Technician II performs intermediate level preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of diagnostic imaging equipment, imagine processing equipment and image data networks. The position works closely with Radiology Engineering Specialists, Radiation Physicist and Information Services in the execution of maintenance activities. Participates in the on-call rotation and responds to after-hours calls. Utilizing critical thinking skills, consults with more experienced technicians when making decisions regarding the maintenance of unfamiliar equipment. Technician will begin to develop an affinity for an approved specialty and seek to increase depth of knowledge through on-the-job and specialized training.

Experience Requirements:
3 Years Biomedical Engineering - Radiology Or Equivalent Preferred

Education Required:
Associate's Degree Technology Or Certificate Military Equivalent Required
