Atlantic Health System is seeking a Laboratory Intern. • This internship will work within the Laboratory of Chilton Medical Center to assist the Medical Laboratory Scientists and other team members
• Work with Scientists on projects involving hands-on working in a laboratory computation or data analysis
• Under appropriate supervison and guiance assist in performing waived and non-waived testing, trouble-shooting equipment

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
• Be in good academic standing
• Studying coursework related to STEM, Medical Laboratory, Biology, Medicine etc.
• Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized
• Proficient in Excel (required)
• Team-oriented
• Ability to ask for help as needed
• Preferred but not required: experience handling patient samples
