Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an Auditor 2 to join our Physician Compensation team.
Unit/Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Auditor 2 is responsible for performing audits and consulting procedures in accordance with the annual plans.
Responsibilities
- Participates in projects addressing the organization's financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Recommends new or modified procedures that improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of the organization's internal controls.
- Assists with drafting reports and maintains adequate evidence of procedures and findings.
- Cooperates with independent auditors and provides data in support of external audits as needed.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid-working knowledge of subject matter.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements of new and existing legislation.
- Maintains professional competency through continuing professional education and staying abreast of regulatory changes.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: 2 year's relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Finance/Accounting experience
- Proficient in SQL
