If this sounds exciting, then Atlantic Health System's 10-week summer internship program may be great for you!
Responsibilities- Working with Melanoma Research
- Initiate and perform own research
- Work alongside our Biostatistician and compose research findings for publication
- Shadow research team members
- Work directly with Physicians to facilitate furthering melanoma research and publication of hose findings
Qualifications- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Be in good academic standing
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of research protocol & compliance
- Strong data management abilty
- Solid understanding of Excel and can easily create graphs from data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team-oriented
- US Citizen or permanent resident
- Enrolled in STEM related field (e.g. pre-med, biology, biochemistry etc)
