JOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Business Development Analyst 2 will be responsible for helping systematically manage growth developments and initiatives for the BSWQA with a focus on the external business community by creating unique healthcare solutions, developing appropriate communications, and tracking success with clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLELeverages in-depth knowledge of healthcare business principals, statistical analysis concepts, and healthcare/health plan data to support critical business functions and decision making.
Develops organized approach to responding to external communications and opportunities, specifically regarding RFP’s sent to Business Development Team.
Able to estimate the impact of different scenarios, analyzes findings and provides actionable insight recommendations. Creates partnerships with various resources and leadership to drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making and find appropriate solutions.
Provides explanations, interpretations and recommendations for reporting results. Develops dashboard, maintains client tracking, and develops management summaries of work which present data findings in a professional, concise and readable format appropriate for content and audience.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for processes, new projects and implementations. Works with all levels of internal and external staff, including senior management, to develop and implement business requirements.
Will engage with external organizations and clients on regular basis.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Health Insurance industry understanding preferred
Writing proficiency and advanced communication skills preferred
Able to work through complex business problems and partner with clients using a consultative approach
Able to apply understanding of healthcare industry trends and their drivers
Able to work in a dynamic setting and work well under pressure
