Position Information:
The Financial Specialist provides financial accounting and reporting support to the WakeMed Foundation, and WakeMed Corporate Accounting. Performs accounting and reporting for restricted funds. Establishes restricted funds as needed per designated use. Serves as backup for Financial Specialist responsible for investments and Financial Specialist, Grants, to include accounting and reporting for Volunteers.

Experience Requirements:
3 Years Accounting/Finance - Finance Required - And Accounting/Finance - Financial Analysis And 2 Years Accounting/Finance - Accounting and Financial Reporting And Investments Required

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Accounting Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant Preferred

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
