Basic Job Description

The Sourcing Decision Support Analyst (Analytics Developer III) will serve as the analytics point person for BSWH Supply Chain Sourcing and Procurement teams. This individual will work closely with leaders and stakeholders to understand the analytics needs of the department and create meaningful tools that will enable our users to drive business performance. This role will also be responsible for assisting in adhoc analysis as needed to support critical initiatives.

What is expected

• Gather and document data requirements from stakeholders. Analyze and translate requirements into technical specifications and data model design
• Lead projects, taking ownership of project timeline, progress reporting, requirements gathering, leading meetings, etc.
• Develop moderately complex information using a combination of SQL and BI platform capabilities to deliver reports, dashboards, interactive reporting, charts, graphs, tables, automated distribution, etc.
• Strong development skills in the use of enterprise analytics tools such as Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI, QlickView
• Test and validate deliverables to ensure quality, along with working with team members to validate work and sign off on deliverables
• Adhoc analysis and data discovery to determine root cause or look for anomalies or indicators
• Establishing core metrics and work with process improvement team to develop KPIs
• Develop Self-service repository of analytics tools for Sourcing/Procurement team

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Experience with the Following:

• SQL
• BI Platform Experience (PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Adhoc Analysis
• Analytics Design (Dashboard, Report, etc.)
• Ability to lead projects, communicate with stakeholders, gather requirements, create project timeline, and report out on progress

Preferred Skills

• Sourcing/Procurement analysis experience highly preferred (does not have to be healthcare related)

• EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
