The Center for Medical Genomics is currently recruiting for a Full-time Practice Supervisor to join our team! The Practice Supervisor will provide direct oversight and support to a team of Access Coordinators, Office Assistants and Clerks. They will assist the Clinical Director, Administrative Director and Physicians in the daily operations of the practice and program as well as:
Supervise daily practice and individual clinician scheduling, billing, and productivity ensuring daily prior authorization and referral management
Provides guidance to staff regarding insurance requirements and changes
Lead expertise on office scheduling and billing providing front office functions as needed (coordinate patient flow, register/check-in patients, answer phones, work desktops, schedule appointments, collect fees, etc.) while modeling service excellence
Ensure that staff optimize clinician templates and schedules to maximize patient access and care delivery
Serve as information/communication liaison between office staff and leadership conducting regular staff meetings and utilizing numerous other forms of effective two-way communication
The successful candidate will demonstrate high emotional intelligence with experience managing projects and/or people. Additionally, they will have in-depth knowledge of business office practices, clerical methods and techniques; and advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications:
High School diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years office practice experience required
Supervisory or lead experience required
The Center for Medical Genomics was established in 2002 at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center with a primary focus on cancer genetics. Over the years the program has expanded comprehensive genomics testing and support services offered through the region at seven sites throughout Delaware and Cecil County. Our team provides genetic counseling across multiple service lines, including oncology, prenatal, NICU, cardiovascular, neurology and adult services.
