Full Job Description

Job responsibilities for employment as a Non-Invasive Vascular Technologist are as follows:

• Must be able to perform non-invasive vascular studies with an outstanding degree of accuracy
• Maintain a high level of proficiency with NIV scan evaluations and produce exceptional reports ready for providers to review and sign.
• Display effective time management and efficiently complete all documentation for providers
• Maintain a clean and orderly NIV study area
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and plethysmography equipment
• Aid in conjunction with the Practice Manager and fellow NIV technologists to reach Nevada Vein and Vascular’s goal for NIV lab accreditation.
• Deliver excellent patient care and promote a high level of patient satisfaction
• Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with patients
• Maintain a professional and friendly work environment
• Maintain all professional certifications (i.e.: Vascular Technologist Certification)
• Maintain an engaged focus for the continued improvement and growth of Nevada Vein and Vascular

Non-Invasive Vascular Technologist Requirements:

• ARDMS credentials such as “Registered Vascular Technologist” RVT (Required or in the process of obtaining)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a vascular sonographer (Preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of sonography technology and technique such being able to utilize a plethysmograph and Vascular ultrasound equipment
• Excellent diagnostic skills and interpretive abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Act ethically and compassionately while providing exceptional patient care
