Northern Light Home Care and Hospice is seeking a full time, hospice physician medical director for their state-wide hospice program. The right candidate would provide excellent and compassionate care to hospice patients, with a mixture of visits at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, Maine and perform administrative duties overseeing the program and other providers throughout the state. There is a high level of schedule flexibility and there is no travel required. Here at HCH, we actively assist clients and families to achieve their highest level of personal health and independence. The focus would be on clarification of patient and family goals of care, patient safety, appropriate coordination of care and patient self-management opportunities, all while delivering professional, high-quality care. Minimum of 1-2 years in palliative or hospice care
Desire for administration, leadership, etc
Experience preferred, not required.
Will be required to live or relocate to the Aroostook County area
