JOB SUMMARY:
The Supplemental Information Security Intern assists the Security Operations team with continuous monitoring for security events and threats. Responsibilities that will be learned include the monitoring and operations of security tools, learning security techniques, documentation of security incidents, and reporting results with recommendations to the security operations team. Assist with detailed security assessments in regards to Harris Health System compliance with federal and state regulations. These security assessments will include application technical reviews, network security reviews, and regulatory and other compliance reviews (HIPPA and PCI).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Pursing a (4) year degree in an Computer related field or Law Enforcement
