Position Summary:
The Chargemaster Analyst is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data in coordination with clinical, revenue cycle, information technology, and financial management staff to support proper charging practices for all hospital and physician departments, providing accurate, timely, and objective analysis. The incumbent oversees and maintains the hospital and physician chargemaster, charge structure, charge coding, government regulations/compliance, pricing, rate structure and performs ongoing and special financial analysis for management throughout the health system, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
5 years of experience performing any combination of chargemaster maintenance, CPT/HCPCS coding, or healthcare billing duties required; those with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration may be considered with 2 years of applicable work experience.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Epic proficiency in Hospital or Professional Billing Administration or Chargemaster required, or commitment to obtain within 12 months of hire
