Position Summary: The Provider Compensation Partner Sr is responsible for providing consultative subject matter expertise, guidance and analysis related to provider compensation in assigned Networks, hospitals and/or business units to help meet business objectives while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Sr. Partner works cross-functionally with Leadership, Human Potential Business Partners, Employment, Labor Relations, Finance, and Legal to understand business issues and collectively develop comprehensive compensation strategies across the system and assigned business unit(s). These typically involve more difficult and complex issues, including Tier 3 (escalated) ERC case support. Manages and coordinates key elements of various compensation programs, in an effort to design and deliver effective and efficient service across the System and assigned hospitals and/or business unit(s). Programs may include compensation planning/budgeting, market analysis and competitiveness reviews, physician/advanced provider compensation analysis/administration, incentive plan design and/or administration and equity analysis. Ensures compensation practices and strategies are followed consistently across all regions, and managers/employees receive the highest quality of service.
Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years experience in Compensation, to include experience researching complex compensation issues, market analysis and developing innovative compensation recommendations for solutions in a large organization, preferably in health care. Experience in Physician and Provider Compensation a plus
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required or four (4) years experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Graduate degree preferred Certification in related area desirable (i.e. CCP, CBP, PHR)
