Job Summary:
. The Database Analyst analyzes data toproduce meaningful information to assist in decision making and improvingworkflows. Acts as a liaison between the Legal, Purchasing, and Finance departmentsand contract requestors to ensure a seamless contracting process workflow. The database analyst will also trouble-shootissues and problems relating to the contract management system, and providesystem training, as needed. Thecandidate must have an attention to detail when compiling daily, weekly,monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadership.
Responsibilities:
AAssist with implementation and roll-out of Networkwide contract management software.AResponsible for monitoring and analyzingdata to ensure contract progression is being processed accurately.AInterfaces with internal and external resources to ensuresuccessful contract processing in accordance with WMC Health Network'sstandards.ATests and troubleshoots proposed process changes to assuredata and process flow quality prior to production.AActs as system administrator for all onlinedatabase users.APrepares presentations, videos, and usermanuals for new user training.APrepares daily, weekly, monthly and ad hocreports for senior leadership.AProcesses changes and adds new workflows inthe online database system, as requested by Supervisor or Senior Leadership.AMonitorsthe status of all contract requests on a daily basis and reports issues toSupervisor and Senior leadership, as needed.ALiaison with third party database team to processand schedule system updates and upgrades.AReceives feedback from users regardingchanges to the database and process.AProcess other ad hoc analysis and reporting asrequested by Supervisor or Senior Leadership.AManages and works independently to resolve multiplerequests/issues. Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
2-5 years' experience in a technical supportenvironment including analysis and design of online based information systems. Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of organizational structure and its relation towork and data flow. Advanced experienceand use of computer applications such as Excel, Word, and, Outlook. Experience using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Abilityto communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Initiative, resourcefulness, sound judgmentare a must.
