Job Summary
Work with the Keystone Accountable Care Organization and Geisinger to dive into Medicare claims and EMR data. Build population health solutions for topics including quality measures, care gaps closure, member attribution, and financial performance. Meet with Business Intelligence stakeholders and develop request-specific solutions - from initial request scope to post-production - including analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution, and implementation.Job Duties
- Work with the Keystone Accountable Care Organization and Geisinger to deliver solutions for population health reporting
- Be able to educate others on complex relationships between multiple hospital partners, Center for Medicare Services, and Accountable Care Organizations
- Independently complete any and all steps of a request cycle - from new request intake to production sign-off and assist other analysts in projects
- Maintain current knowledge on numerous CMS and healthcare topics, policy updates, data availability, file package transfers, definitions, APIs, etc....
- Analyze population health measure performance, financial benchmarking, shared savings, closing care gaps; and effectively communicate key findings
- Additional responsibilities include facilitating data transfers, working with vendor partners
- Locate and identify data needed, profiles to determine quality and appropriateness, understands necessary manipulation and relationships to be established, and recognizes how to transform the data set to establish what is needed for next stage BI and reporting.
- Able to act as a data steward and resolve issues or work with appropriate parties to have issues resolved and documented.
